How Pocket NC works?

As a five-axis desktop CNC machine, the working principle of Pocket NC mainly includes the following steps:

Design and modeling:
Users use CAD (computer-aided design) software on the computer to design the required part model. After the design is completed, the file is usually exported in STL or other compatible formats.
Programming and path generation:
Using CAM (computer-aided manufacturing) software, users convert the design into instructions that the machine can understand. These instructions include cutting paths, feed speeds, and tool types, and generate G-code files, which define the specific movement trajectory of the tool during the processing process.
Loading materials and tools:
Users fix the material to be processed (such as metal, plastic or wood) on the workbench of the machine tool and install cutting tools suitable for processing the material.
CNC operation:
After Pocket NC receives the G-code command, the built-in control system starts and accurately controls the movement of the tool on the X, Y, Z axes and rotation axes according to the preset program to achieve five-axis synchronous processing. This multi-axis processing capability enables the tool to cut at multiple angles to handle complex shapes and bevels.
Monitoring and Adjustment:
During the processing, users can monitor the processing status in real time and make adjustments as needed to ensure the processing quality and accuracy.
Complete processing:
After processing, users will get finished parts, which may require some post-processing (such as grinding or cleaning) to achieve the final quality requirements.
