Description
Technical Parameters
Dental SLA Resin is a high-precision 3D printing material developed specifically for the dental field. Based on stereolithography (SLA) technology, it enables the precise printing of dental components such as crowns, bridges, implant guides, and temporary restorations. It boasts excellent biocompatibility and dimensional stability, accurately reproducing tooth anatomy. The printed products offer smooth surfaces and crisp details, meeting the stringent clinical requirements for precision and safety. Widely used in dental clinics, denture fabricators, and oral medical research and development institutions, it provides an efficient and reliable material solution for dental diagnosis, treatment, and restoration.
dental sla resin advantage
●Ultra-High Precision Molding: Printing accuracy reaches ±0.02mm, accurately replicating fine structures such as tooth texture and occlusal surface morphology, ensuring a perfect fit between dental components and oral tissue, reducing subsequent adjustments.
●Excellent Biocompatibility: Passing ISO 10993 oral biocompatibility testing, the cured material is non-cytotoxic and non-sensitizing, and non-irritating to oral mucosa, meeting safety standards for dental medical materials.
●Fast Light Curing Efficiency: Under specific wavelengths of UV light (typically 355nm-405nm), the material cures quickly, with a single layer curing time as short as a few seconds, significantly shortening dental component printing cycles and improving production efficiency.
●Stable Physical Properties: After curing, the material exhibits excellent impact and abrasion resistance, resisting cracking and deformation due to chewing forces or changes in the oral environment. It is also resistant to corrosion from saliva and dental detergents, extending component life.

Dental Sla Resin Process
Xinshan is a professional dental resin supplier, providing one-stop solutions
Model Data Preparation
3D data of the patient's teeth is acquired using an intraoral scanner. Dental design software is used to optimize the component structure (e.g., adjusting crown thickness and occlusal clearance). An STL file is exported that meets the requirements of the SLA printer and then imported into the print control software for slicing.
Resin Filling and Equipment Debugging
Dental SLA resin is poured into the printer's resin tank, ensuring a smooth liquid level. Printing parameters (e.g., laser power, scanning speed, and layer thickness) are set according to the resin's characteristics. The print platform position is calibrated to ensure a precise starting point for printing.
Layered Stereolithography
The printer's laser head illuminates the resin surface layer by layer according to the slice data, instantly curing the resin. After each layer is printed, the platform descends by the corresponding layer thickness to continue curing the next layer until the entire dental component is printed.
Post-Processing Optimization
After printing, the component is removed and any residual resin removed (e.g., isopropyl alcohol cleaning is available). Post-curing treatment is performed as needed (e.g., secondary UV exposure to enhance component strength). Finally, sanding and polishing are performed to optimize the component's surface finish to meet clinical requirements.

FAQ
What you may want to know
Which brands of SLA 3D printers is this Dental SLA Resin compatible with? Are there any compatibility issues?
+
-
It's compatible with mainstream SLA 3D printers (such as Formlabs, EnvisionTEC, Farsoon, etc.) and supports UV curing with a wavelength of 355nm-405nm. Provide your printer model before purchasing, and we'll provide a compatibility test report to ensure compatibility. If compatibility issues affect performance, we can assist with adjusting parameters or replacing the resin with a compatible model.
What are the storage conditions for the resin? How should unused resin be stored after opening, and how long can it be stored?
+
-
Store in a cool, dry place away from light, at a temperature between 15°C and 25°C, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperatures. After opening, keep the bottle tightly sealed (cap the resin bottle tightly and install a moisture-proof stopper). It is recommended that it be used within one month. If unused resin appears cloudy or precipitated, stir it thoroughly and test the curing performance. If it meets the performance requirements, it can be used again. If not, it can be returned or exchanged.
Do printed dental components need to be sterilized? Does this resin withstand common dental sterilization methods?
+
-
Printed parts must be sterilized before use. The product is resistant to high-temperature autoclaving (121°C, 0.1 MPa), ethylene oxide sterilization, and UV sterilization. After sterilization, the physical properties of the component remain unchanged, and there will be no deformation or cracking, making it safe for clinical use.
Do different dental components (such as temporary crowns and implant guides) require different resin grades?
+
-
Yes, we offer specialized resin grades (such as resins for temporary restorations and implant guides). Each grade is optimized for strength, toughness, and transparency (for example, resins for implant guides prioritize impact resistance, while resins for temporary crowns prioritize aesthetics). Please inform us of your specific application when purchasing, and we can recommend an appropriate grade to ensure the component's performance meets your specific needs.
Can I request free samples? Is the quality of the samples consistent with the bulk purchase?
+
-
Yes, we provide free samples. Samples are produced on the same production line as the bulk purchase, and their quality standards and performance parameters are identical. Production information can be traced using batch numbers.
Industrial-grade SLA resins are labeled "high-temperature resistant -40°C to 230°C." What specific applications does this high-temperature resistance have in dental applications?
+
-
This high-temperature resistance is primarily applicable to dental processing (such as high-temperature porcelain-fused-to-metal bonding and implant abutment baking) and special clinical needs (such as patients working in high-temperature environments for extended periods). It prevents component deformation caused by temperature fluctuations during processing or use.
